OCS Services is looking for an experienced Manager- Projects to lead and manage Asset Integrity projects, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, financial performance, and safe project execution. This role will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites, driving productivity, optimizing operational margins, and ensuring the successful delivery of corrosion management, industrial painting, scaffolding, inspection, and maintenance projects within the Oil & Gas sector.

The position focuses on operational efficiency, project profitability, client relationship management, resource optimization, and continuous process improvement while ensuring compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and OCS operational procedures.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager- Projects to oversee Asset Integrity operations, ensuring efficient project execution, financial performance, client satisfaction, and continuous operational improvement. This role will work closely with clients, senior management, project teams, vendors, and support functions to deliver high-quality services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

  • Financial Management
    • Develop annual budgets and revenue forecasts for sites under your responsibility.
    • Ensure achievement of operating profit margins in line with approved budgets and business objectives.
    • Monitor revenue performance and present periodic reports to senior management.
    • Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve operational efficiencies.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure competitive pricing.
    • Support Business Development teams in preparing competitive and profitable commercial proposals.
    • Monitor client payment schedules and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
  • Operations & Project Management
    • Lead and manage day-to-day operations across assigned projects and sites.
    • Develop project execution plans and mobilize resources in accordance with client requirements.
    • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.
    • Drive productivity improvement initiatives across all operational activities.
    • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
    • Ensure closure of punch points and successful project handover to clients.
    • Prepare and review Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports and operational forecasts.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
    • Understand client requirements and resource needs to ensure successful project execution.
    • Coordinate corrosion management, inspection, maintenance, and monitoring programs.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
    • Address client concerns proactively and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Vendor & Supply Chain Management
    • Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
    • Ensure procurement activities comply with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.
  • Warehouse & Asset Management
    • Coordinate material planning and inventory management activities.
    • Monitor material consumption and inventory reporting.
    • Maintain critical spare parts inventory and ensure availability.
    • Ensure inspection, testing, calibration, and certification records are maintained.
    • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and downtime reduction initiatives.
    • Review and approve vendor invoices and service documentation.
  • People Leadership & Development
    • Identify manpower requirements and support workforce planning activities.
    • Coordinate with HR to ensure adequate staffing and resource allocation.
    • Lead project review meetings and operational performance discussions.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Additional certification in Project Management will be an advantage.

Experience

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas operations and project management
  • Experience managing multiple projects and client-facing operations.
  • Strong exposure to Asset Integrity services, Industrial Painting, Scaffolding, Maintenance, or related disciplines.
  • Proven track record in budgeting, cost control, and operational management.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and contractor workforces.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Painting and Scaffolding operations.
  • Familiarity with Asset Integrity Management practices.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
  • Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and maintenance planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Environment
