We are seeking a highly competent Senior Executive – Procurement to manage procurement and contract activities for our operations in India. This role is critical in ensuring efficient sourcing, cost optimization, compliance, and seamless coordination across projects in a fast-paced offshore environment.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong experience in procurement, contract management, vendor development, and logistics, who are capable of driving operational excellence while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
As a Senior Executive – Procurement, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement lifecycle management, including planning, sourcing, contract governance, logistics coordination, and vendor relationship management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

What You Will Do:
Planning & Forecasting
- Develop annual procurement plans based on project inputs
- Monitor procurement progress and mitigate delays impacting project timelines
- Conduct market analysis and align procurement strategies with business goals
- Track competitor activities and market trends
Procurement Operations
- Manage end-to-end procurement and contracting activities
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per quality and operational requirements
- Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Handle costing, negotiations, and vendor selection
- Ensure smooth procurement cycle from requisition to delivery and documentation
- Resolve technical issues related to procured materials
Production & Optimization
- Drive production optimization initiatives
- Oversee chemical injection, well monitoring, maintenance, testing, and sampling
- Support rig-less operations and performance improvement programs
Contract Management
- Develop and manage contracts and service level agreements
- Coordinate with legal teams on contract compliance and regulatory updates
- Ensure adherence to procurement governance and regulatory frameworks
- Audit invoices and manage contract closeouts
- Maintain complete procurement documentation and records
Policies & Procedures
- Develop and implement procurement and inventory management procedures
- Maintain SOPs and procurement registers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Analyze market and supply systems for material availability
Logistics Coordination
- Manage import/export and logistics operations
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and delivery schedules
- Liaise with vendors and logistics partners for timely deliveries
- Evaluate supply chain systems and improve efficiency
Cost Management
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and business analysis
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement
- Monitor market trends to ensure competitive pricing
- Manage departmental budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments
Vendor Management & Development
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Evaluate vendor performance on quality, delivery, and commercial terms
- Support technical discussions between vendors and internal stakeholders
- Identify and onboard new vendors as per project requirements
- Maintain an updated and robust supplier database
What We Are Looking For
- B.E./B.Tech (MBA in Supply Chain / Procurement preferred)
- 9–10 years of experience in procurement and contract management
- Strong knowledge of local/state regulations and procurement practices
- Experience in sourcing, buying, expediting, and vendor management
- Good understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
