OCS Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. has achieved a Five-Star grading in the British Safety Council Occupational Health and Safety Audit 2026 for its Kakinada FPSO operations.
The independent audit assessed the effectiveness and implementation of OCS’s occupational health, safety and wellbeing management systems across Operations & Maintenance activities associated with the offshore asset and supporting Kakinada base.
The assessment examined 50 elements of health and safety management, including leadership and commitment, stakeholder engagement, risk management, occupational health, safety culture and continual improvement.
Areas recognised during the assessment included the experience and commitment of the team, standards of housekeeping, structured permit-to-work reviews, emergency preparedness and the integration of safety into routine operational activities.
The Five-Star grading provides an external benchmark of the systems and behaviours supporting OCS operations while reinforcing the importance of continuously reviewing and strengthening safety performance.
